Carving pumpkins! 
My bf and I created this one earlier in the week.  Carving pumpkins is no joke, it was seriously hard.  I tried using a regular knife and opted for the one in the carving kit.  Don't forget to roast the seeds on the inside!

Blackened Salmon Success!! 
I've been trying... and subsequently failing when making salmon for years.  I finally tried a blackened salmon recipe that was actually pretty good!  Bad moment - when cayenne pepper filled the air in my kitchen and I thought I was going to choke to death.  Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
