The Best Iced Coffee - Seriously

Hi friends :)  I hope your weekend is off to a great start!  Who doesn't love iced coffee?  I know that I most certainly do - but I love coffee in every form.  Especially, on a hot summers day... there is nothing quite as great to give you the quick caffeine fix that you need... or when the AC in your car is broken and the dealer can't look at it until Thursday... but that is a different story entirely.  Feel sorry for yourself and make this iced coffee.

I promise - this is better than Starbucks.

*Warning - if you don't own a french press, brew the coffee and chill it, but keep in mind it will not be the same - don't say I didn't warn you*

The Best Iced Coffee - Seriously

1/3 cup coffee grounds of your choice
2 cups water
1/3-1/2 cup Silk Vanilla Almond Milk
1 tsp sugar (optional - I left it out)

Step 1.  Pour your coffee grounds into the bottom of your french press, add the 2 cups of water. Allow to sit out on the counter overnight - the longer it sits, the stronger it gets - preferably at least 8-10 hours.

Step 2.  Press the coffee using your french press - obviously.  Next, into a glass add ice cubes & about 1 cup of your coffee.  Then, pour in the almond milk - pause to admire the beautiful swirls it makes in the glass.

Step 3.  Drink the best iced coffee you've ever had.  Swear that you will destroy your Starbucks gold card and will never drink their iced coffee again :)  Now if only I could re-create the pumpkin spice latte....

What do you add to your iced coffee?
